The Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Ghana (SOGOG) is seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join its Secretariat in Accra.
Position: Local Accounting Consultant
Organization: Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Ghana (SOGOG).
Contract Duration: six (6) month
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the selection and deployment of a suitable accounting software solution.
– Oversee systems installation, setups, customization, and financial reporting tools.
– Manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
– Prepare budgets, financial reports, and statements.
– Oversee audits, grants, and donor funds.
– Support the Secretariat with financial planning and accountability.
Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (professional certification an advantage).
– Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and ICT skills.
– High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
